About NanoCity Oman

NanoCity is an Industrial Park in Oman and will be established near the city of Muscat. In this city, different companies in various industries will produce goods by using NanoTechnology for local and global market.

NanoCity has 4 Industrial Zone, hotel, school, shopping center, health center and business offices that will be built in an area of 1 million square meters.
This project will be developing in collaboration with INIC and man in 10 years within third phase.

About INIC

Iran has recognized the significance of NanoTechnology like other pioneering countries and started its activities in line with development of the technology. In this regard and as first step, a Study Committee for NanoTechnology in Iran began its activities in 2001 and finally  Iran NanoTechnology Initiative Council (INIC) was established in the country in 2003.
The INIC is tasked with determining the general policies for the development of NanoTechnology in the country and pursuing the case with implementation of the policies.
Iran’s success in achieving a proper place among 15 countries which are advanced in NanoTechnology and making attempt to promote the position in a bid to develop Iran’s economy are the main missions of the INIC.
Iran NanoTechnology Initiative Council is seeking to pave the ground for activity of the private sector and production of wealth within the society through adopting outlook, providing facilities, creating market and removing the existing problems.

About AUT

AUT LLC is a wholly owned private LLC company established in 2016 and is committed to invest and develop projects with high potential to the country that will improve and contribute to developing the quality of life as well as protecting the shareholders' interests.
AUT LLC fundamental goals are to contribute in achieving the economic and social objectives of the Government's visions and strategies which includes economic diversification, development of Omani human resources and skills, enhancing the standard of living in Oman, and increasing the in - country values.

Chairman’s message

On behalf of board of directors, I would like to thank you for browsing the website of NanoCity Oman. NanoCity will contribute in the manufacturing industry of Oman through NanoTechnology. NanoTechnology is science, engineering and technology conducted at the nanoscale which is about 1 to 100 nanometers. NanoTechnology is to do with creating a wealth, new materials and manufacturing possibility which has great impact on the economy, environment and society.

NanoCity Oman is three (3) phases project. The construction of the first phase will start on April 2019 and will be completed by April 2022. The second phase construction will start on December 2023 and will be completed on December 2026. The third phase will commence December 2028 and will be completed by December 2031.
